Cookies and tracking

This page describes the current website storage and tracking setup. It does not claim that a consent preference center already exists.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

BA.GO has not yet implemented a cookie banner or consent preference center. That work is planned for a later stage; the current GTM configuration is unchanged in this release.

1. Necessary and preference storage

The site uses browser storage for the chosen locale, booking/session progress and reliability or idempotency-related state where applicable. This allows the booking flow and explicit language preference to continue across navigation or refreshes.

2. Analytics

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are configured through Google Tag Manager for traffic, funnel and usability measurement. BA.GO's own event helper sends a limited non-PII event payload, but these providers may set or read their own identifiers according to their configuration.

3. Marketing

Meta Pixel is configured through Google Tag Manager as a marketing technology. Its processing is conceptually separate from storage required for the booking flow.

4. Attribution

The site may store UTM parameters, click identifiers, referrer and landing page in session storage so a booking conversion can be connected to its first visit. Booking-form identity and contact values are not added to the shared BA.GO analytics events.

5. Current controls

There is currently no BA.GO preference center for enabling or disabling analytics and marketing categories. Browser privacy controls, blocking tools and clearing site data may affect these technologies. A future CMP stage will define an on-site choice and withdrawal mechanism after legal review.

6. Changes

This policy will be updated when BA.GO implements consent controls, changes providers or materially changes how tracking technologies are used.
